about.jpeg

I’m a Costa Rican filmmaker inspired by collaboration and the world around me. I studied Film & Television at Veritas University in Costa Rica, and graduated with an emphasis in cinematography. During my time at school, I worked as a cinematographer and co-editor on Tempo: La Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de Costa Rica, a feature-length documentary that won the National Arts Award Armando Céspedes Marín in 2015.

I’m a founding member of Chimbo Films, an author-driven production company that focuses on human-centric stories. As a cinematographer I have worked on three documentary feature films, a number of short films, and advertisements. As an editor, I have worked on television series, documentaries, and short films. My work includes What We Forgot (feature) and Animales Políticos (series).

I’m also passionate about photography, you can see some of my photos here. I’m always seeking collaboration with new people through film; feel free to contact me at the link below.
